The partnership signing event brought together several high-profile figures, including Gennaro Sangiuliano, former Italian Minister of Culture, and Giulio Tremonti, President of the Foreign Affairs Committee at the Italian Chamber of Deputies. Also in attendance were Li Xiaoyong, Chargé d’Affaires ad interim at the Chinese Embassy in Italy, and Ambassador Zhang Lubiao, Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations in Rome.

The Forum also featured contributions from Lorenzo Riccardi, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China, and Giovanni Tria, President of the ENEA Tech and Biomedical Foundation. From the media sector, Oliviero Bergamini, Head of the Foreign News Desk at TG1 (RAI), participated alongside Tian Fan, Director of Xinhua’s European Regional Office, and Ze Diao, Head of Xinhua’s Rome Bureau.

The Forum provided an important platform for dialogue on communication, policy research, and international cooperation, reaffirming CICC’s commitment to supporting institutional dialogue and fostering closer ties between Italian and Chinese stakeholders.
